IBCI Sponsored Driver, Justin Carroll, Reveals Throwback 276 Car Honoring Alan Kulwicki’s Career
Justin Carroll, the defending Throwback 276 LMSC Winner, reveals his 2018 Throwback 276 Car. The car scheme the race team selected was based on the 1991 Daytona Car driven by Alan Kulwicki. The decision was made to honor Alan Kulwicki and KDDP, Kulwicki Driver Development Program, in the 1991 Support The Troops themed car.
Paul Andrews, Former Alan Kulwicki Crew Chief and Tom Grady, Member of the Board for Kulwicki Racing Development Program, joined Carroll for the reveal. “Definitely one of my favorite cars for my time with Alan. Really enjoy this whole program and “Support The Troops” was a pretty big deal back then and still is a big deal now, so it’s pretty awesome,” said Andrews.
Carroll was ready to drive the Kulwicki-themed Ford to the finish, ” I’m super excited to have this one race deal at the Hickory Throwback 276. I think we can hopefully put it in the victory lane again this year.”
